Tsinghua Faculties and Students Win Best Paper Runner-up Award at ACM SenSys 2022
The 20th ACM Conference on Embedded Networked Sensor Systems (SenSys 2022) was held in Boston, USA, from November 6 to 9.
Associate professor Yuan He from the School of Software of Tsinghua University, together with his students and collaborators, won the Best Paper Runner-Up Award for their paper MicNest：Long-Range Instant Acoustic Localization of Drones in Precise Landing. This paper was co-authored by researchers from Tsinghua University, Meituan and the Polytechnic University of Milan. The research work was jointly supported by the drone group of Meituan, the Tsinghua University-Meituan Joint Institute for Digital Life, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
ACM SenSys is the flagship conference in the IoT field, and has been held for 20 years since its first edition in 2003. This year the conference has received 209 submissions, among which 52 papers have been accepted, with one winning the Best Paper Award and one winning the Best Paper Runner-Up Award.
